Reba's show angers me (kinda long rant)?

I mean, you couldn't help but like Barbara Jean, but Reba was a push over allowing this woman in her home and pretending life was great with a husband who committed the ultimate betrayal by getting this woman pregnant. Reba was obviously hurt yet they rarely spoke about his infidelity unless it was a passing joke. If I were Reba, I wouldn't hold a grudge but I wouldn't be buddy, buddy with a decietful ex-husband and his mistress either. Brock was a jerk, he barely apologized for leaving Reba with 3 kids (1 a pregnant teen at that) to run off and get married to his assistant whom he knocked up. I could see if they're marriage ended on good terms, then I would have no problem with Reba befriending them, but what BJ and Brock did was betray her and she pretends life is honky dory?! What am I missing here?
I'm aware this is tv, but it still begs the question of morality, you genius
I actually own a bookstore, so obviously I read. I wasn't aware Yahoo answers was so serious and people weren't allowed to post without some loser being negative. If the question doesn't interest you, do me a favor and don't reply. I'm trying to enjoy my lazy Sunday. Instead of answering questions why don't you read a book or take a chill pill?
@Placidaz, I can appreciate the add-on to your answer. Maybe you didn' understand the point of the question was to help me better understand what was going on in the show, not to be rudely insulted and told to read a book because I posted to Yahoo answers.

I loved the relationship these two had,,for BJ all she wanted was Rebas respect even after she stole her husband and for Reba,,,all she wanted was to be left alone BY BJ to let her forget the betraying husband who left,,,I think she handled the situation with class ,,a lot better than I could do,,
I love the show and still watch the reruns<<the one who pisses me off is Keira and her smart a$$ mouth,,HOW could Reba let her act the way she did?? Thats the big mystery to me!
 
Um,maybe your missing the fact that it's a low budget situational comedy,using mostly unknown or "B" actors,broadcast on a low rated channel,and it's only T.V.!!!!!
Read a book,it's fun!!!
You want to know about the morality?O.K.,She refused to let her circumstances dictate her actions.She kept a civil(Within the parameters of the shows premise)relationship with her ex,thereby not inflicting further damage to her children.
I think mostly,the idea is,life hands you a lemon,make lemonade.
 
Actually I have never really seen Reba being overly kind to Barbara Jean. In fact, Reba basically kept trying to push the woman out. Barbara Jean was very annoying.

I never saw Reba pretend that life was honky dory. She had to deal with and insenstive ex-husband who kept bringing over his ditzy airedheaded wife.

I think Reba just ended up putting on a really big mask and the use of humor in the show hides the whole affair that she could be more bitter than she is.
 
She couldn't have been doing this for the kids! All she had to do was divorce him and give him his weekly visits with the kids, instead of becoming his and his wife's best friends. I think the show was crap based off the fact Reba "pretended life was great". That's not healthy. What a waste of airtime!
 
Wow. I'm a fan of the show, but I'm not THIS into it.

I see your point, but if the show was the way you'd like it to be, no one would watch it. It's out-of-the-ordinary-ness is what humors everyone!
