Reassign/Disable E61 Voice Recorder Button

Everytime I pick the darn thing up I start recording something. Is there a way to disable the button or reassign it to do something less agitating?
 
It happens to me a lot as well, and i did try to find a way to disable it as well, but havent find any. i think it can be deleted though, but i dont want to do that cos i use it often... Live with it...
 
any ideas how to delete it then? That thing drives me nuts. May be I can write an app just to kill it? Another question on the same subject - is there anyway to re-assign volume up/down buttons?
 
Check your firmware (*#0000#) and this will show your current firmware ver.

Go to http://www.nokia.com/A4176089 and update your phone to 3.0633.09.04
