Reasons why electronics SHOULD be allowed in school?

If you're talking about laptops, they're an extremely valuable resource in the classroom- think of all the paper that could be saved. If you're talking about i-pods, understand that during individual work they could keep kids from being distracted by each other. Cell phones, I have to say, there isn't much argument. They really should be kept off during the school day.
 
we need cell phones because i call my mama 5 times a day wether its in the restrooms or whatever but i call her for emergencies like that time of the month or sickness or to see if my dad aint in the hospital. i use my ipod touch on the bus i can see why we cant listen 2 it @ skool but on the bus i want to relax and get in the mood 2 work but my dang bus driver wont let me
 
with electronics in school, if there were another(hope not) Virginia Tech/Columbine fiasco, everyone will be alerted right away.

Parents can reach their kids more easily if there were an emergency

new learning idea, podcasting and e textball.
