Reasons I should buy a GM, chrysler or Ford vehicle?

My wife and I are in the market for a car. We have decided not to buy any "Big Three" products. We do not feel we should reward them for getting billions for doing nothing. Is this the wrong attitude? Can anyone tell me a good reason to buy any of these?
 
WEll that's not the reason why you shouldn't buy one. You shouldn't buy from any of the big 3 because they ave horrible resale value, are generally unreliable, are made like crap (in general). I would say, you might want to check out a Chevy Volt when they come out in 2010.. but until then go with Honda, Toyota, or BMW.
 
I think any company/person would like a bailout that is failing. It isn't their fault they got billions it is our government's fault. If the government is throwing money into the air can you blame people for grabbing it when they need it? That all being said I drive a honda, they are mostly built in the US whereas a lot of US cars have a lot done in Mexico :p Buy the best car you can for the best price. What would be bad is to buy a BAD american car therefore encouraging them to continue to make bad cars. If people buy the best cars eventually detroit will make the best cars or go away. My 2 cents.
 
You choose not to support them and as a result, their business will decline further making the investment made by the government a waste. This will also insure the loan they received will never get repaid.
