i think that depends on the router/connection, but for data u can use the internet whenever there is rf, which basically is, everywhere~

Here is my reasoning.....the only thing that it has over my N73me is the 3.5mm jack, wifi, and gps. I have unlimited data so wifi is no biggie for me right now. Well the headphone jack is important it isn't worth selling my N73me and spending another $300-$500 on top of just for the headphone jack and gps. I could see spending that if it had US 3G. Because it would make it definitely future proof for a gooooood while.

Oh and about this flash thing posted earlier........I saw a thing on engadget mobile about adobe making a flash lite 3 which included internet video for many mobile platforms. Any info or want to direct me to a link? ***Don't want to derail this thread into another direction*** But this would be one less pro of the n95 if it could be added to existing s60v3 devices.

see, like Angel said, I have unlimited data, and I also have an external GPS unit, so the N95 only offers me another data source and convergence. For the price, not really worth it.

Though I'll confess, it's REAL hard to deny myself that sexy freakin black N95...

lol...is there an award at 5000? If so, I can only imagine what the award would be at 60,000! We know that 45,000 get's you an N80, 50 is an N93 and 55 is an N95. E90 for 60?

Another reason to deny: Current 3rd-party GPS software like TomTom will not work with the built GPS receiver. I'm actually mad about this because I think tomtom is a lot better than smart2go.

...I'm still going to buy the phone though.

And now that the smart2go software is available to everyone I might just get the Holux 240 Sirf III GPS unit and add that to my N93.

Unfortunately, no other existing S60 3rd Edition GPS software is able to take advantage of the built-in receiver because all of them are 'hardcoded' to communicate with Bluetooth GPS devices via the Serial Port Profile. But of course N95 and E90 optimized versions supporting their internal receivers will soon be released by developers (the location API is available to developers), so it's only a matter of time.

....from the review by Michael Jerz @ my-symbian. he seems to think it wont be long before we can use the B/I gps w/ 3rd party applications.
