Ironically although there seems to be some damage behind outside mirror housing, it still works from adjuster inside car. Would like to avoid costly repair, but, for the life of me cannot figure out how casing attaches to outside of car. Was going to use a strong adhesive, but doesn't look like there's much on outside casing to hold onto. Are there some sort of clips on the inside that would hold the mirror to the outside of the car?
