I have a 1991 chevy silverado 4x2 I am going to be doing a complete brake job on it, but I have a question. My last truck was an 88 cheyene 4X2 I bought some rear brake shoes for it, but I never installed them, can I use them on the 91, both trucks have 15 inch wheels, so wouldnt it all be the same, any help is appreciated

Easiest way to find out would be to call the part store they can tell you if they are inerchangable. Or you can just look up any part store on line look up both trucks and see if the part numbers match up. Or you could just take the rear drums off and see if they look the same.

I would bet they would be the same.

they might easy to call parts store ask them to look up both and see if the numbers same easy right

Break pads for American made vehicles are pretty much standard. The only real deviation is that they are either bonded pads or rivitted pads. Bonded is the best option.
