I have a 1994 Lincoln Continental in wonderful shape !
I recently replaced the drivers rear air shock because it blew out !
and after I replaced it, I noticed that the rear end of the car was pumping up too high and was hard solid as a rock(you couldn't the push the shock down) and I had to turn the air ride off which was in the back trunk !!! I'm thinking now this is why the rear shock might have blew out !!!
What are the all the possibilities this could be ? I'm the thinking the sensors of some sort ??
I have no idea and would appreciate any help !
You see when it's the motors turned on it doesn't air up so high...but when the motors is turned off 90 seconds it starts to air up way too HIGH and lifts the rear end prob 8 inches or more off the ground !!! and once it's high I have to manually turn off the sensors and it's really hard. I don't understand I need any advice you could give me. With this I'm afraid if I replace the a sensor or sensors it may not have been that it may have been a computer prob !
