hello, i don't know much of anything about this kind of stuff but if anyone can help me, much appreciated.

my iphone 16gb 3g was jailbroken 3.1.2 but i downloaded a bunch of crap which made it run mad slow, also my youtube and couple other things didnt work either. so i saved the backup so i can get my contact back from itunes after i reset my whole phone.
i didn't want restore it because it would've updated to 3.1.3
so i reset the phone and it was stuck on apple, i home+hold button for 25 second and it shows the connect to itunes sign. so i connect to itunes and its asking me to restore so i tried using black rain. gets stuck at the picture.

now here i am with a iphone thats not on any firmware.
whats the best thing to do for me right now.? upgrade to 3.1.3 or just leave as boot? i want my phone to be jailbroken, also my sister and her boyfriend have jailbroken iphones 32 3GS if that helps if i need something from them or something.


whoever can help me id be really thankful, im very worried.

and my boot is 5.11 and firmware 3.1.2..i wana restore agian with 3.1.2 firmware can i do it?thanxx
 
First I upload my Ecid to cydia when my 3gs is on 3.1.2,,5.11.And Now I upgrade to 3.1.3., 5.12.Afterthat downgrade to 3.1.2 again with procedure which is shown in first page.Procedure everything ok but itune give error "eligable".Pls help.
 
This solution work fine, i downgrade my iphone to v.3.1.2 but modem firmware - 5.12.01
how downgrade modem, if its possible?
 
How we can downgrade 3GS bootrom ? all doors to 3gs possibilities are "apparently" closed...
 
My friends. 3Gs old bootrom can downgrade truly, Some people said mb models are old, but for my experience some mc models are old bootrom also. My 3gs 3.1.3 old bootrom, jailbroken already and no tethered jailbreak at all.
Now i wait for unlock and I wanna confirm all of you that I can downgrade to 3.1.2 easily, but you must restore with custom firmwares by sn0wbreeze or pwnagetool. If you restore with original firmware will get the messege "not eligible" etc...
 
NOW IM WITH THIS PROCEDURE:

And After the Restore Complete U Will Get Error 1015 If U Downgarde From 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 IF U Just Restore From 3.1.2 The Restore Will Complete Without Any Problem And Close The Dos Screen To Restore U Orginal Host File

CAN YOU CLARIFY THIS?
AM I CLOSE CMD THEN RETORE AGAIN MY 3GS 3.1.2 IPSW?
 
to avoid "not eligible" 3GS must be have 3.1.2 ECID stor on surik server. otherwise you can not restore with original firmware.
