Read our text conversation. Did I mess up? Does she have a right to be upset at me?

we've been close friends for almost 2 years... but never an official item. (whenever i get intimate, she always ran away. but she tells me she loves and appreciates me all the time.) besides, she's had a history of abusive exes.

the other night she upset me because i told her i really needed her to be my girl, and she refused. she left a long message basically saying she still loved and cared about me... but i was upset so i only replied with 'um ok.'


then she stopped answering my calls after that... ( i think she was hurt by me not appreciating her message ).


I finally texted her saying: 'are you ignoring me? '
and she replied, 'i love u but i get the feeling u don't wanna wait for me any longer cause we dragged this on for too long n i still can't seem to give u what u want it's probably easier if we chill this whole thing and back off for a bit. that way there'll be no more disappointment between us?'

and then i said, 'that's a silly idea. i was just bein a cry baby the other night. you know i will wait for you as long as it takes. i love you.'

and she never replied. does she still love me? what could she be thinking/feeling right now?
