DGX-230? O.K... I got it for Christmas (Yamaha DGX-230 Keyboard), and I'm very sure there is a way to make my own MIDI voice for it...The very last voice (however number 000 out of 489) on the list printed on the keyboard says "OTS" I'm guessing that would be how I would use said voice, or I might upload it to the device from my computer. This is what I know, from the instruction manual, about how the MIDI voices work. (Sample note, electronic circuit, small equation, et cetera) I do have the separately sold Type AB USB cable and the driver on my computer. The instruction manual doesn't have enough info for me. (I haven't really found anything on the Yamaha website.) Also, please don't tell me to buy a book or something like that because if I wanted to spend money over this, I buy a tank of gas and drive around and as a Pro in person
. So... If possible, How can I make my own MIDI voice for my keyboard, (or am I just assuming way too much)? Maybe a freeware download, or, for example, an Audacity plugin? I appreciate of your help and that you had a long enough of an attention span to read my description, because I highly doubt that I would.
THANKS AGAIN.
