Re human dumping of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere; does this contribute to

Dastardly

climate change or not? Should I believe the professional scientists on this or should I go with the Y! answers pundits who pose thought experiments about SUVs on Mars????

Who is the wisest on this topic?

I just read that 95% of all CO2 released into the atmosphere comes from natural sources that have nothing to do with human activity.

Even if humans stopped producing CO2 completely, it would cut total CO2 by only 5%,

So yes, we are causing 5% of climate change.

And we should all spend over a thousand dollars a year to combat a problem when we are contributing only 5% to it, and the actual reduction will be more like 2% or 1% of total global CO2 AT MOST.

How smart is this?

not! temperature changes on other planets are the same as here. That is where the suv on mars comes from. What is your answer for that? Do you not know that co2 spews from inside the earth constantly? The number one green house gas is water vapor. Why is there no concern for that? Why won't ANY of the scientist or algore who support this have a debate? If all scientist said it was in fact true maybe i might change my mind. The fact is that not all and not even half support this. That tells me that it is not a scientific fact. You believe what you want, i don't care, just don't expect me to pay for or follow laws pertaining to your beliefs.

Some say human dumping of greenhouse gasses into the atmosphere is making climates change.

Some argue that it's all a big conspiracy to create a new set of 'carbon taxes'

If it's the later and we assume it's a conspiracy and we are right then we save ourselves some money.

If it's actually the former and we mistakenly still assume its a conspiracy to create new taxes we face unpredictable climate change and possibly catastrophe

....maybe its better to assume its the former until someone proves it's a conspiracy (if it is a conspiracy)
