RE.Duac

Hello,
I have just stated using duac hopefully to clear up the acne on my cheeks. I have only suffered with this acne for about 2 years, I never had more than an odd spot in my teens but when I hit 23 I just seemed to be doomed! Im hoping that duac can help im sceptical as I have used benzoyl peroxide on its own to no results, but fingers crossed this will help. My only concern is about it causing scarring, can anyone who has used it tell me about there experience and whether it caused them any scaring and if so how bad was it.

its fantastic stuff, ive used other benzoyl peroxide creams with no real results either, but duac is fab my acne has gone!
 
Not to hijack your thread, but I didn't think I should make another Duac thread. My doctor prescribed this for me, and I'm using it with Differin. Anyway, how are you supposed to use Duac? I'm supposed to be using it in the morning, but I have to leave for school by 6:30. Do I put it on, leave it on, then wash it off? Or just leave it on the whole time?
 
My derm told me to put it on then put a moisturizer on top of it and go about my day. This is my second day using my products and my face it burning. I hope you have better luck.
 
Don't worry I think its unlikely to cause scarring but my advice is for heavens sake watch out for your clothes!! Duac ruined at least 6 of my tea shirts/jumpers, and countless pillow cases and towels. Try not to let the neckline touch your face when you take off clothing, particularly if your face is wet. I didn't like Duac, it made my skin really dry and kinda painful. But it was the clothes I was most upset about grr! Good luck though, hope it does the trick for you.
