re branding from Metro to C ?

Okay, So how does one go about getting rid of the Metro PCS startup animation, etc ?

I was browsing around with QPST and saw many things that *look* like they might be able to be just deleted, but I don't want to guess and brick somehting.

Can I use my Cricket phone and copy the startup, apps, etc and just save them and then write them to the OTHER phone ? or is there more to it than that ???

It's an R560 Messager II (Samsung)..

I've got it activated on Cricket now but I'd kinda like to A. get rid of the things that say "MetroPCS" and B. get rid of the HELLO Hello hello ....

Neither are big deals. I'm just trying to learn more about what's under the hood!.

so CDMA workshop, Qpst UNICDMA or BITPIM won't work :confused: ???

Can the BIN be extracted from a CRICKET Phone with Samsung PSTlite ??? or do I have to locate it and d/l it ?

Not sure if its possible to use workshop or any of the other programs but it is way easier to use samsung pst that way insures that you will not run into problems. Dont make it harder on your self.
