Could someone please either post screenshots of their RTT Browser Settings and MIP settings from Motorola's PST OR do a #073887* and post those settings here?

The settings in the Cricket WAP Info post are outdated.

Thanks to whoever helps me on this!

They are??? :befuddled That is what I used to get it working on my V265 a year ago and it is what I still use today without any problems. I did not know anything had changed. If there are updated settings I would like to know as well.

I had to enter those settings manually cuz they did not exist on my phone as purchased. The "Cricket_WAP" websession I created still has "cricketwap" as the user name and "cricket" as the password. "Cricket_MMS" websession does not use a user name or password. PST mobile IP page shows a NAI (network access ID) of "[email protected] (xxxxxxxxxx is 10 digit phone#). Mobile IP is useless on original cricKet hanRABets as the ability to tether or use DUN is disabled (at least on the Moto's) and cricKet's network does not support it that I know of. If you want I can zip up my PST files and post them. I'll have to edit the personal entries first.

I called them, and instead of resetting my account, they created a "trouble ticket". *rolls eyes*

In the meantime, this may seem redundant, but could you please post your Browser settings here from the #073887* menu?

Thanks. :reallysad

I don't have a "Browser" menu item, I assume you want my WebSessions menu settings. Now it should be noted that this is a short version of PST's RTT Browser file. You can do more with PST like change the homepage, edit locked, read only sessions and a couple other settings. But here goes...

This is the first entry listed:
Code:
Name: Cricket_MMS
Homepage: http://homepage
User ID: _________
Password: ________
Gateway IP 1: 10.3.0.41
Gateway 1: _________
Service Type 1: HTTP
Port 1: 8080
E2E Port 1: 8080
LXL Port 1: 443
Gateway IP 2: 000.000.000.000
Gateway 2: _________
Service Type 2: __________
Port 2, E2E Port 2, LXL Port2: All 0
Cache Start-Up: Off
This is the second entry listed and also checked as default:
Code:
Name: Cricket_WAP
Homepage: http://homepage
User ID: cricketwap
Password: ******* (PST shows it as cricket)
Gateway IP 1: 000.000.000.000
Gateway 1: wap.mycricket.com
Service Type 1: HTTP
Port 1: 8080
E2E Port 1: 8080
LXL Port 1: 443
Gateway IP 2: 000.000.000.000
Gateway 2: ___________
Service Type 2: HTTP
Port 2, E2E Port 2, LXL Port2: All 0
Cache Start-Up: Off

K, great. Those settings give me the "call *611" message. And like I said, the only way to get the phone to even try to connect is by plugging-in my settings manually into those blank fielRAB. Still no dice as of yet. But after plugging-in those blank settings it at least tries to connect.

Something's up, and I don't know what it is. I wonder if someone has a more recent Cricket Motorola who can list their settings here.

Okay, thanks anyway. I really appreciate all your help!

I had those problems with my other line when I changed from a Verizon LG VX6000 to a cricKet Kyocera KX16. Even though I had the $45 plan and activated ClicKs, no data feature would work. No BREW, No MMS send or receive, and the Mobile Web would not pull up the Portal Homepage, just timed out with "Network Not Available" When I called CS Tech Support and described my problems, as I was posing the ? "Do I need to have my Data Services reset?" She said to me "Yes and I have already done the reset". So I went thru the whole speech for not and the data features all worked before I hung up. That message "Dial 611 for........." is built in to the phone, not passed down from the network if I am not mistaken. So whenever the hanRABet cannot connect it spits out that msg or others depending on the error condition. Other phones give different msgs but all basicly mean the same can't connect. Verizon users have to do the same reset for various reasons leading to the data services not working. I believe it has the effect of forcing the phone to generate a new A-KEY and sync it with the network. I'm sure there is more to it than that but that is my basic understanding.

I wish I learned how to type with more than two fingers right now.
