RAZR Battery life

My brother's RAZR is getting real bad battery life, his Cingular RAZR was much better than the Cricket RAZR in terms of battery life. Anyone experiencing anything similar?

On a second note, are there any Syrabian based phones that are CDMA. I have always had GSM phones, whats a good CDMA phone? I dont really care to much for any of cricket's phones.
 
1) now that he has unlimited minutes does he talk on the phone more?
2) i'm not an expert but i've heard that cdma phones get worse battery life because they boost transmission power when they are recieving poor or no signal. if the phone stays with no signal for a while it goes to standby though.
 
1. Hes talking about the same, he had the AT&T charter plan so it was unlimited before also.
2. That might be true, but CDMA phones also only transmit when the person is talking where as GSM phones transmit weather someone is talking or not.

In closing, he swapped his phone out for another RAZR today, so we will see if theres any difference.

just curious, how much battery life is he getting. i was getting a day and a half until they turned on wap browsing, now mine only lasts one day(can't get enough of that espn soccer coverage :) )
 
Well, I asked him now, he was getting less than a day, he doesnt use WAP or anything, he would change his battery about once a day. It cant be the battery, he has 3 which all have the same issue. These are also the same batteries that he also used in his cingular RAZR. We're testing out a replaced RAZR today from Cricket, I'll post on the progress of any of switching out the phone.
