It's actually pretty easy to replace the actual screen. Just pop up the plastic cover on the inside of the phone and take out the screws. Yes there is a little bracket in there you have to get loose but takes no time. You can find a replacement screen if you do a google search for motorola v9m replacement screen. The first one I saw was for $120.00 Also, the main screen and the external screen are the same part if you didn't know.
