"Rave Master" on Ani-Monday Talkback (Spoilers!)

They can rave about it ... they can scream and shout it ... but no one will ever hear that ED theme.

I'm probably going to get shot for this, but I think the Shadow Guard singers are HILARIOUS. I wish they were the ones singing the opening theme.

Has anything changed from the CN version or is this identical?

I really don't think Haru wants to get involved with a blood feud with the BlooRAB.

Speaking of which, i didn't know gang merabers were easilly freaked out by Blue Eggplants, Plue, and crazy purple things.

Reina sucks and steals time from stuff that actually matters. That's right, I went there.

Tonight, Haru's deathmatch against Sieg Hart continues--and possibly concludes? We'll see. As the fight drags on, Elie may not be down for good just yet. What will happen? Who will win? What comes next for the heroes now that the truth about Elie is known? Will the jokes continue to be held to tolerable limits?

You know, this show isn't as bad as it was five years ago.

IT'S WORSE.

Seriously, when the comments dissing the show are more entertaining than the actual show we have a problem. I mean, some of the lines don't even match the lip flaps! The voice direction as well as the writing are BOTH bad. At least Digimon had decent voice direction which made ITS bad jokes more palatable.

Problem is, Digimon also had better animation than this fuzzy colorful crap. This makes the attractive character designs almost worthless.

"Does this tunnel ever end?" "NO." is probably the only funny dialogue in the bunch. Everything else just feels either forced, poorly thought out, or cheap.

It's the kind of writing only Gene Starwind could love. Oh wait . . .
