Rather intimate personal photos of myself "not" of age?

I was going through an old disc of pictures I had personally taken of myself. I then found a few of me that I took where I was in various states of undress, some completely nude. The problem was when I looked at the date I realized I was only 17 in the pictures. I don't ever plan on letting ANYONE see these, but could just possessing them get me into trouble? Should I get rid of these photos and what would be the best way of doing that to ensure they aren't still somehow on my computer?
 
the queastion is!!! Is it worth risking going to prison and registering as a sex offender for the rest of your life because you want to develop these pictures???? GET RID OF THEM NOW! Dont want, just cut the lose on other photos on that thing.
