I realy can't decide which of those i like the best


Return of the jedi ( great film, ruined by some little cretins ;) )

phantom menace.I think is a bloody good film.I love jar jar too :o

I also think liam neison played the jedi part better than anyone: including alec guiness


Attack of the clones.Well, it is just bad.The diffrance by aiden and ewen in ROTS is hard to belive.The last 20 to 30 minutes wre good though

I can only count to three and there was never any such thing as a new hope. Just new merchandise.

(The main reason Return of the Jedi is last is the Ewoks! Apart from that it was good, but they were BAD!)

But it's probably best to watch them in order of release. ;)
 
Neeson was magnificent in that film. In fact, credit where it's due for TPM introducing two excellent characters to the SW universe, amongst the finest in the SW canon - Qui Gon Jinn and Darth Maul.

And the proceeding to kill them both off.

Qui Gon had to be killed off so that Obi Wan could teach Anakin. Darth Maul didn't have to go to be fair but he should have had more screen time.

ROTS almost edges ROTJ except for the terrible ending and the bad Vader voice. ROTJ has by far the best scenes (final space battle & Vader / Luke duel) and dialogue (Emperor / Luke confrontation) but is demoted for the unforgivable Ewoks.

After that there was too much CGI for me but...

I know - but it's still a shame. Neeson ans his character was one of the few great aspect of the prequel trilogy.

That said, if I'd have written it I would have done the following:

1) Obi-Wan needed to be older in TPM (to make his ages work in the timeframes between the prequels and originals), and have him lose his apprentice to Maul, allowing him to then take on Anakin.

2) Maul needed to get away, and take on the plot role of Darth Tyrannus. This gives some gravitas to the final showdown at the start of Sith, rather than it being just another disposable prequel baddie.

But hey, what do I know? I'm just another fanboy who thinks he knows better than Lucas. ;)

Interesting to see AotC get such a comprehensive drubbing.

I've always felt that it was a movie designed by committee to placate hysterical fanboys after Phantom Menace.

I have mixed feelings about the prequels. When they came out I was ver ysupportive, but now I am a little less blinkered and on a whole they are bad. But at the same time they have some truly great scenes in them, but not enough to warrent inclusion on my list
