Rate the Nightmare On Elm Street Series.

Dream Warriors is my favourite of all the NOES movies. Saw it in 89 and it would be my first choice when I rewatch the box set.

I do however have a soft spot for 5 Dream Child, not sure why, I think it is because it feels rather 'dreamlike'. I like the touch of Alice running out of the cafe and round the corner only to find herself in the same place again and again.

Freddy Vs Jason and NOES 2 were shockingly bad. I've only watched both twice and can't bring myself to do it again.

Have no desire to watch the remake, no Rob Englund so it won't feel like a real NOES film.

The TV series was a genre changing show, with powerful well written scripts and had quite a hefty budget for a TV show, the acting was also first class, the series was acclaimed by fans and critics alike for it's dramatic story lines and visual impact.
Even now years later, lots of writers and directors cite the Elm street TV series as inspiration for their work.
:D
