We have had Friday and Halloween, now time for Freddy.

1.Nightmare On Elm Street
2.Nightmare On Elm Street 3
3.Nightmare On Elm Street 5
4.Nightmare On Elm Street 4
5.Freddys Dead
7.Freddy Vs Jason
8.New Nightmares
9.Nightmare On Elm Street 2

I havent seen the remake yet so cant comment on it.

1. NOES 3 (By far the best, really loved the various characters in the insomniac clinic, also was nice to see Nancy back as an adult and featuring more heavily in the story)

2. NOEL (the original and a classic, shouldn't have been remade imo)

3.New Nightmares (a really original idea having Heather play herself the actress not Nancy and having Freddie be real, I always remember getting the video for this with the 3D glasses :D)

I really dont like the rest very much but I guess

4. NOES 5
5. NOES 4
6. Freddys Dead
7. NOES 2
8. Freddy vs Jason (was this a joke?)

9. The remake (just AWFUL, no NOES is NOES without Robert Englund)

A Nightmare on Elm Street (1)
Dream Warriors (3)
Wes Craven's New Nightmare (7)
Freddy's Revenge (2)
The Dream Master (4)
The Dream Child (5)
Freddy vs. Jason (8)
Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare (6)
A Nightmare on Elm Street remake (haven't seen it either but I can tell you it's the shittest :D)

To be honest from Freddy's Revenge to Freddy vs Jason I find them hard to rate, I like them for different reasons and think of them all pretty much evenly.

Nightmare on elm street(original)
Nightmare on elm street 3
New Nightmare
Nightmare on elm street 4
Nightmare on elm street 2 freddys revenge
Freddy vs jason
Nightmare on elm street(Remake)
Freddys Dead
Nightmare on elm street 5

I also enjoyed the pilot episode of freddys nightmares no more mr nice guy, kinnda cheap but i always wanted to see his backstory.

I actually think Dream Warriors is the one with most to come back to and enjoy on repeated viewings, so:

3
1
4
5
2
New Nightmare
Vs. Jason
Remake (abysmal)

1. Part 3 - This is the first one that really explored the mythology, and the only sequel that actually compliments the original, still looks and feels like it, and lacks the silly pop culture/heavy metal/Americana shite of later entries.

2. Part 1 - What can you say really.

3. New Nightmare - A really interesting take on the series and kick started the whole post-modern horror era a year before Scream made it popular.

4. Part 5 - Undeservedly maligned, a great visual style, and an interesting concept that is a lot more than "Freddy has a baby".

5. Part 4 - Morbid and slightly dull, and the first of the sequels that gave us the whole wisecracking pop culture thing we all remember. And the storyling makes no sense, actually part 5 had a better story.

6. Part 2 - The gayest horror film ever made, and total shit that forgot the mythology established in the first. You can tell it was rushed. And the hero is such a wuss.

7. Part 6 - Roseanne was in it. With Tom Arnold. If that wasn't enough, they retconned the entire storyline and added ten minutes of 3D to the end.

8. Freddy vs Jason and the Remake - Beyond shit in virtually every way.

The First One is really Good,

The second one is okay, i liked how it was different from the first.

The third One is very stupid but it's still the best of the series.

The fourth One is not bad

The Fifth one is kinda boring, but it's got a decent storyline

The 6th One (New nightmare) Is very good i liked how this one was very original and brought something new to the series, a bit long but hey.

The Seventh One is not really that good.

Freddy vs Jason - It's okay, but i hate how freddy started the jason thing kind of destroys the stroy behind jason

Haven't seen the Remake, but i want to see it.

1. Wes Craven's New Nightmare
2. A Nightmare on Elm Street
3. A Nightmare on Elm Street: Dream Warriors
4. Freddy's Dead: Final Nightmare
5. A Nightmare on Elm Street: Dream Master
6. A Nightmare on Elm Street: Dream Child
7. A Nightmare on Elm Street: Freddy's Revenge
8. Freddy vs. Jason

Yet to see the remake.

As a big fan of the NOES movies I thought Freddy Vs Jason wasn't all that bad. I re-watched it again just last week and still thought it was a fairly decent modern teen slash flick. Certainly one of the better slasher flicks of the last 10 years.

I know some alot better than others, but here goes:

1. Nightmare on Elm Street (original)
2. New Nightmare
3. Nightmare on Elm Street 3
4. Nightmare on Elm Street 5
5. Freddy's dead
6. Freddy vs Jason
7. Nightmare on Elm Street 4
8. Nightmare on Elm Street 2

Haven't seen the remake, I don't usually like them. :o

1. nightmare on elm street original. I thought it was excellent.

2. nightmare on elm street 3. okay. quite creepy.

3. freddy's dead. I thought it was funny, but stupid.

4 New nightmare. pretty good

5. nightmare on elm street 4. meh

6. nightmare on elm street 5. meh.

7. nightmare on elm street 2. boring as hell.

8. freddy vs Jason. idiotic

8. remake, haven't seen it, but assuming that it will be utter crap.

Johnny Depp had a very brief cameo in Freddy's Dead.

He could have been in New Nightmare too, but Wes Craven assumed he'd want too much money so never asked him, then bumped into him some years later and Depp asked why he'd never approached him and said he would have done it for free if he'd been asked.
