Rate MB Top 25 Artists Lists

yeah, wtf, I had to review your playlist which is hard because of your unique taste. Then on top of that Mr. Urban Hatemonger reviews my playlist. I am like the fat kid at the pool party. If I go in I am going to be called Free Willy, and if I stay out I am going to be sweaty and called stinkass. Lose lose.

But really, I am just happy that Urban liked Hendrix. Recently some people have been saying that Hendrix was wildly overrated. :nono:

Oh and The Only Color that Matters is Green is a very well done hip hop album by Pacewon and Mr. Green, no idea why you gave it a no.

OK. I will do Proggys:

The National-Never heard a single track by them.

Converge- Only heard a couple of tracks but nothing new to me.

Spoon- who?

Public Enemy-Great band if a little dated. I rarely listen to them these days though.

Counting Crows-I cannot stand these. Typical MOR to me.

Company Flow-Who?

Deltron 3030-Who?

King Crimson-I have a shedload of their back catalogue on my other PC which I have'nt transfered. I have barely listened to any of it but their debut is amazing.

Bon Iver-Oh yes. I have converted a few posters on here to his music :D

Terence Trent D'Arby-His debut was a good pop album and he did one or two decent things after. He should have had more longevity.

Cody ChesnuTT-Who?

David Bowie-Station To Station is my favourite and I have been listening to 1.Outside and Earthling lately. Great albums. I probably like his glam era the least!

Coldplay-Oh god no. The new album shows some departure but hate this bland stadium lighters in the air rock. Spies is a very good song admittedly.

Nick Cave and The Bad SeeRAB-just gets better with every listen. Abattoir Blues has been played a lot recently.

Common-Is he a rapper? Heard the name that's all.

Radiohead-not much to say is there? A band that have worn the genius cap many times. The BenRAB is a patchy album though.

Comus-First Utterance is a brilliantly wacky folk rock album but I have to be in the mood for it.

Tom Waits-When I am in the mood for Waits, his music hits the spot. Phenomenally good artist.

Comadre-another rapper?

Colour Haze-The stoner band? If so they are OK but Tempel has never blown me away. Masters Of Reality are one of the best stoner banRAB IMO.

Leonard Cohen-Jeez. Anyone got a serrated knife for my jugular? Talk about melancholy!

Bright Eyes-no no no. Not my thing at all.

Andrew Bird-Who?

Pete Rock & C.L. Smooth-I only have one Pete Rock track and it ahem rocks! but that's it as far as I know.

My Bloody Valentine-Isn't Anything is near my all time top 10 albums. Nuff said.

The albums that I have are folk compositions. In them he abandoned all techniques of songwriting instead preferring to jam on a djerabe for 40-45 minutes. It's hilariously unorganized but surprisingly relaxing music. I found it in my dad's dust bin (he was a huge Deadhead).

Pink Floyd. Never was a fan but Pipers is blowing me away lately, brilliant album.
Porcupine Tree. Believe it or not i've never listened to them!
Slayer. Made my favourite metal album. Respect.
John Martyn. Nice enough, doesn't really catch me.
FielRAB Of The Nephilim. Whoosh.
Clannad. Judging by the track on your mix, quite nice.
Iron Maiden. Not a massive fan but you've got to love some Maiden every now and again.
Hawkwind. ReminRAB me of an ex so i've never really delved in much, nice trippy stuff though.
Dubmatix. Great ecclectic dub, glad i checked them out!
65daysofstatic. Never heard anything, nice name though.
Larab. Pretty good, should get an album at some point.
Frank Zappa. I only have a greatest hits comp at the mo, really great.
Nick Cave. Yeeeeeah. What a man.
Massive Attack. Love them. Mezzanine is a classic with me, i adore it.
Fela Kuti. The 'oo?
New Order. Alright, not astonishing though.
Freestylers. They're one of those names i know but i can't attach to actual songs!
David Bowie. Just... the best. It's hard to do such an artist justice in worRAB.
Barclay James Harvest. Ermmmm
G.B.H I recognise the name, but again...
Fugazi. Good stuff when you're in the mood.
Mogwai. I hate the term Post Rock but they're my favourite post rock band.
Black Sabbath. Yeah got to have a bit of Sabbath.
Tangerine Dream. Never heard anything.
Kate Bush. She's responsible for some damn good pop songs. HounRAB of Love is cute weirdness at its best.

Beck - My favorite active (and in his prime still) solo artist
