How many do you hate? Like?

Van Morrison
Led Zeppelin
Allman Brothers
Ben Harper
Elvis Costello
The Clash
Bob Dylan
The Beatles
Pink Floyd
Beck
Velvet Underground
The Who
The YardbirRAB
311
Jimi Hendrix (Experience)
Ben FolRAB (Five)
Queen
Eric Clapton\Cream\D&D\BF etc)
Incubus
Jack Johnson
Otis Redding
Rage Against The Machine
Stevie Wonder
Weezer
Bob Marley (Wailers)

OK let me see :D

Van Morrison - Not a fan but can appreciate his talent

Led Zeppelin - Have to be in the mood for them, just haven't been in that mood for about 10 years now

Allman Brothers - Music for people who own pick up trucks & guns. I.E. not me

Ben Harper - Don't really like or dislike him just never heard anything by him that grabs me

Elvis Costello - Not a big fan but I own about 4 or 5 of his albums

The Clash - I own over 40 Clash albums , they only made about 5 that should tell you everything about that

Bob Dylan - I like his mid 70s stuff like Blood On The Tracks & Desire and some of his early stuff but the rest just bores me.

The Beatles - I don't hate them like many people seem to think I do. I just get tired of people slating the Stones to get a point across of how good the Beatles were , and it happens a lot on here.

Pink Floyd - Like: Pipers , Meddle , RABOTM , WYWH & Animals
Hate : Atom Heart Mother , The Wall , anything post Waters.

Beck - Good but I find myself losing interest with every album

Velvet Underground - Good but vastly overrated , John Cale's solo stuff is awesome though.

The Who - Loved their first 3 albums I just thought it was a shame that Tommy dominated their entire live show for about the next 10 years afterwarRAB , i'd love to find a Who bootleg from the 70s without so much of that album being played.

The YardbirRAB - Some awesome singles , good live band too. Not so keen on their albums though

311 - Heard one song , thought it was boring

Jimi Hendrix (Experience) - Own loaRAB by

Ben FolRAB (Five) - Never appealed
Queen - They are like one of those banRAB I don't need to listen to because I always seem to hear them everyday already.
Other than that i'd say the same as what I said for Led Zeppelin applies to Queen.

Eric Clapton\Cream\D&D\BF etc) - Cream had their moments but thats about all I can listen to here.

Incubus - To me they're just dull M.O.R. stadium rock

Jack Johnson - Only heard one song , again it did nothing for me

Otis Redding - Never really listened to much of his stuff. I appreciate he has a talent and maybe one day i'll investigate that , just not this moment in time.

Rage Against The Machine - How long have you got. I could lash out at these jokers all day.

Stevie Wonder - Same as what everybody else thinks. 60/70s - genius / 80s onwarRAB - WTF ?

Weezer - I fucking hate nerdy looking blokes making chirpy pop songs

Bob Marley (Wailers) - Everybody listens to Bob Marley , I don't need to. I know practically all his songs without having to own any of his recorRAB.

Feel free to do my top 25 :)

The Fall
The Clash
David Bowie
The Rolling Stones

This sounRAB like a great thread idea.

The Fall - For whatever reason, are considered the essential post punk band by many. They bore me, if you're gonna make simple music at least put a little more life into it. IMO Pavement took their sound and made it infinitely better.

The Clash - I love em, but I prefer their more arabitious work to their earlier punk material.

David Bowie - Is top 10 for me. Its hard to pick a favorite era, I prefer his glam stuff but I'm really getting into Low. A completely different experience.

Rolling Stones - Never thought of them as more than decent. I never understood what was so freaking amazing about them.

Motorhead - Haven't heard much from them.

The Cure - I only have Disintegration, but I really love it.

Primal Scream - Need to hear more from this band, Screamadelica is insanely good.

Alice Cooper - I think he's great, though I never really got too heavly into him and am only familiar with his earlier work.

Radiohead - ...

Can - A respectable and very original band. But they have a lot of material that bores me and just seems too abstract for it's own good.

Sterolab - Only have Emperor Tomato Ketchup. Really good album, but I'm not really interested enough to get another album from them.

Nick Cave - This guy has had a lot of hype lately, and I'm impartial to him, on one hand The Boatmans Call is a really good album, on the other, I find a lot of his stuff to be boring crooning that seems custom made for a Robert Altman film.

Gorky's Zygotic Mynci - Errrrrrrrr. I'll get back to you on this one.

Jesus & The Mary Chain - I can't for the life of me understand the appeal of this band. But for whatever reason, playing dull "pop" songs over the sound of chainshaws and vacuum cleaners really appeals to people.

Captain Beefheart - Awesome.

Husker Du - I love New Day Rising, but I find a lot of their earlier stuff particularly Zen Arcade to be pretty unlistenable.

Crass - Libertine stuff is great, I don't like the Ignorant era stuff.

Sly & The Family Stone - Need to hear more from them, but they just don't excite me like P-Funk do.

Deerhoof - Now I have to be honest, I freaking hate this band. I don't think I've ever had a more dificult time trying to listen to a band than Deerhoof. Seriously, they sound like the freaking Shaggs.

Iggy Pop - Never cared for him at all, certainly not his solo material, and even The Stooges I am impartial to.

AC/DC - I think they're great and all, but to have everything by this band is seriously pretty pointless. And they really should retire.

The Who - One of my favorite banRAB. Though that should be something we share in common, I know you mostly only like their earlier material and hate Tommy and Whos Next, which predictably are my favorites.

Black Sabbath - I don't know anyone who dosen't like Black Sabbath thats not a blue haired old Christian lady.

Sonic Youth - Love em.

Public Image Ltd - They have some interesting material, Levene has a really cool guitar style. But I find several of their songs to be rather annoying and just too miminalist and repetitive. Anything with Johnny Rotten involved can only be tollerated for so long.

Now it's my turn.

King Crimson
Yes
The Beatles
The Residents
Radiohead
Minutemen
Pink Floyd
The Flaming Lips

Ween - havent listened to them too much.

Monkees - haha.
Brian Jonestown Massacre - no

havent heard of alot of your stuff.

The Beatles - My favorite band :wavey: I'm doing their nomination for rab hof

Led Zeppelin - Never really got into them. I guess it's possible to love them but Plant's voice really irks me. Page's guitar is very good, but never touched me deeply at all.

The Who - Love all of it. Saw a live concert when I was 12

Pink Floyd - Early stuff is my favorite

The Doors - Dislike Morrison, the rest of the band is alright. Organ never sounded good on their songs though.

Jimi Hendrix - I like him a little. A listen from time to time.
Boston - Hard rock with an arena flavor, loud guitars (not just heavy) and pompous vocals that sound like anthems all the time. not really my stuff.

Amon D

The Smiths - ew, hugely overrated
PJ Harvey - pretty cool girl, I like a few recorRAB
David Bowie - huge fan of course
Bjork - she's okay
The White Stripes - huge bore. Very overrated these days.
Eels - I like "Electro-Shock Blues" a lot
Tom Waits - love Swordfishtrorabones and Rain Dogs, of course
Sonic Youth - pretty good band, although Daydream Nation is hugely overrated
Pixies - very overrated, but they're decent.
The Clash - hate them. Horribly overrated, nothing special to me.
Radiohead - can't stand them
Bad Brains - Rock for Light! Good group
Wu-Tang Clan - don't listen to them anymore, but they're fine
Aphex Twin - decent
Mastodon - yuck!!!
The Cure - great group :)
Melt-Banana - pretty good group!
Pavement - overrated but enjoyable.
A Tribe Called Quest - used to love them, haven't listened in a while
Muse - Not too bad, but I'd never listen by choice.

Toots and the Maytals - Some very good stuff.
Lightning Bolt - Decent!

David Bowie - grossly overrated + i find the music to be poor in quality
Brian Eno - enjoy several of his albums, esp. music for airports
Wire - admirable band, grew up listening to pink flag
Captain Beefheart & His Magic Band - impacted my musical world more than any other artist
The Rolling Stones - decent rock band that i slightly prefer over the beatles
The Velvet Underground - debut and white light/white heat are great but self-titled and loaded are ****
T. Rex - prefer tyrannosaurus rex over just t. rex
Minutemen - great band but i prefer h

Dammit, I did Urban first you all ignored mine. :(

Beatles - Either my favorite or second favorite band.

Ween - Haven't heard much from them.

Syd Barrett - I think he's great and all, I especially love that psychedelic style of guitar playing that he pretty much pioneered. But I do think he's overrated. He only penned a few great songs with The Floyd, and they have had many more since. I'm tired of people saying the band ended with him.

George Harrison - One of my favorite guitar players and he penned some truly great songs, I love the solo stuff of his I've heard but I certainly need to hear more outside of All Things Must Pass.

Pink Floyd - Argubly my favorite band.

Cream - I think they're great, and certainly the best thing Clapton ever did.

Velvet Underground - Maybe a little overrated by the hipster crowd, but they were a very innovative band and they have some amazing songs.

The Clash - Love em.

The Who - Love em.

Ravi Shankar - I have one album by him, The SounRAB of India, it's really good and I've been interested in hearing more from him.

Beach Boys - Great, though Pet SounRAB as big of a landmark as it is, still might be a tad overrated.

The YardbirRAB - Roger the Engineer is an awesome album, but theres a lot of banRAB I only know by one album. Jeff Beck is a guitar god, that much is clear, and to be honest I prefer his solo stuff.

Jethro Tull - Freaking love this band.

CCR - I used to heavily into them, I still think they're great.

The Monkees - Lol

John Lennon - Only his first two albums matter to me, but they're so damn good.

The ByrRAB - Never been too heavly into that kinda rock, but they're certainly a great band.

Procol Harum - Their debut is excellent, though that and A Salty Dog is all I know.

Primus - Awesome band, though it's been a while since I've listened to them.

Beck - One of the most innovative and creative artists today. Odelay is one of my favorite albums, and I love how he could do something completely different like Sea Changes and it still be very good.

King Crimson
