Rate films as you see them...

Alexander................5/10
The battles are good, Angelina is gorgeous,
he (Colin Farrell) just isn't right in the role,
I wanted to like it, I really did :(

Troy......................7/10
Better than Alexander,
I like the battle scenes as well.
Brad Pitt should have been Alexander the great in the above film............any one should have been Alexander rather than Colin Farrell.

Garden State - 5/10 It was... well it was, hmm, ok it was, well lets just say... It was ok :- | Natalie Portman acting her panties off (man, i wish! :D)

The Devil's Rejects - 3/10 Boring gore fest, probably will become cult

Sin City
Excellent, love the noir feel to it, and the uber violence of a Tarantino film. Only slightly let down by having a weaker story (there are three in total). More like this please 9/10

Alone in the Dark - 2/10 Bloody awful drivel, nothing like the games, will someone please stop Uwe Boll from making movies.

Assault on Precinct 13 - 3/10 Dull face/off that had loaRAB of potential fails to deliver.

Aladdin - 7/10 Classic modern disney.

Elektra - 8/10 Fun and dumb and definitely sexy.

Kung Fu Hustle - 6/10 A bit too crazy, martial arts flick that lacks plot, but still fun.

Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events - 9/10 Better than Harry Potter (if one were obliged to compare the two), delightfully dark tale. Jim Carrey, awesome! Emily Browning, sexeh!

Team America World Police - 7/10 **** YEAH! Humourous and gross fun from the South Park guys.

I saw a load of 12A's so here goes:

Meet the Fockers - 7/10 - Average, nothing special.....

Hitch - 3/10 - An embarassment to movie making.....

The Interpretor - 8/10 - I liked this film, although it did have a few boring moments.....

The Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy - 6/10 - Average, but a bit confusing.....

The Forgotten - 10/10 - Loved it totally action-packed.....

White Chicks - 10/10 - Loved this too, had me in stiches all the way through.....

A few more I can't remember as well.....

I Heart Huckabees - 7/10 - Hoffman is hilarious, as is the underrated fella from Spun. Decent story, shame about the constantly wooden Law. Stick to playing robots, it becomes you.

Team America - World Police - 8/10 - Genius. Not in the same league as South Park : The Movie but comic quality all the same.

Birth - 4/10 - Has Nicole Kidman ever made a good film?

10 Things I hate about you - 7/10 - I should hate this. Goes against everything I believe in. ;)

Kinky Boots - 4/5 (very amusing, well paced, excellent cast, excellent script - for this type of thing)
Wallace & Gromit: Curse Of The Were-Rabbit - 4/5 (laugh out loud funny, keeps all the original charm with some saucy British humour and first class sight gags)
Four Brothers - 3.5/5 (great cast, good script, nicely handled characterisation, a little too sugary in places)
Pride & Prejudice - 4/5 (superb adaptation - even Keira is watchable!)
League Of Gentlemen: Apocalypse - 4/5 (very amusing, very well executed, could have been horrible)
Sideways - 4/5 (absolutely priceless)
Garden State - 3.5/5 (a sublime gem - although didn't enjoy it much as have in the past)
Napoleon Dynamite - 4/5 (never fails to raise a smile, enjoy it more each time I see it)
Best In Show - 4/5 (such a brilliantly written, observed and acted film)
Shrek 2 - 4/5 (wanted to remind myself exactly how brilliant it is - truly superb)
The Incredibles - 4/5 (jaw droppingly great to look at, a superb adventure)
Seed Of Chucky - 1/5 (an absolute waste of everyone's time - cast, crew and audience)
American Pie Presents Band Camp - 0.5/5 (shameful, just shameful)
and finally ............
Revolver - 0/5 (makes American Pie Presents Band Camp look like Citizen Kane)

The Constant Gardener - 10/10

Probably the best film of the year. Tense, intelligent, beautifully filmed thriller of the type that I didn't think they made anymore. Directed by the bloke who made City of God.

batman - ooooh. 8.5/10

spanglish - pretty funny, lighthearted flick where you know what's going to happen but are quite happy to go along with it. 6.5/10

submerged - steven segal's got fat and now has strangely frizzy hair, doesn't fight much, tries to put on a southern accent, and vinnie jones is in it. i only fast forwarded twenty minutes of it, sadly. 1/10

war of the worlRAB - surprisingly good thanks to the way they handled the 'no hope' feel, let down only by some seemingly out-of-place scenes, some pretty iffy effects & the way they dealt with the ending imo. 6.5/10

Batman Begins - 9/10. Now this is how Batman should be! Dark, intense, action packed, great storyline and casting. Christian Bale is perfect for Batman. Disillusioned with the previous franchinse films? See this and enjoy!

The Crow - 8/10. Saw this back in 1994 at the cinema and watched it again with my GF a few nights ago. Brilliant. Brandon Lee would have been a successful action star if it was not for the tragedy on the set of this film.

Assault on Precinct 13 was an awful remake, pointless pointless.

Fudoh: The New Generation - 6/10 - Not one of my favourite Miike films, but it was interesting.

Team America - World Police - 7/10 - Bit scattergun, not as on the mark as some episodes of South Park, still v funny though.

Downfall - 9/10 - One of the best war films I've ever seen.

Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy - 4/10 - Disappointing. They tried to cram too much in, and there are some books that just don't translate well to the screen.

Sideways - 8/10 - Really good film, very funny and warm and light hearted and everything.

Birth - 7/10 - V slow but I quite liked it. Liked the scene at the end.

Ichi the Killer: A ******* gross out, but Ichi coolest anti-hero of all time?

Akira: INCREDIBLE! One of the best animated films of all time, still looks amazing almost 15 years on.
