Rash

In mid-December, I noticed a rash on my inner thigh/inguinal area. I've used some anti-fungal cream, but it hasn't disappeared, although it has lessened somewhat. It doesn't hurt, but itches a little every once in a while.

Yesterday, I noticed a rash starting on the other inguinal. However, I have a small cut at the top of this one, and it's not bleeding. It's just kinda open. Any idea what could be wrong with me?

Most likely it is a yeast infection and you need something stronger than over the counter med.

Areas that stay warm and moist are subject to yeast infections. In the crease of leg or other locations the skin can break and feels/looks like a cut.

Use a hair dryer to dry often as well as use yeast medication. AF-Zesorb powder helps also.

Wear cotton underwear, more absorbant than synthetic fabrics as well as allows air circulation.

You might want to investigate the possibility of a tick bite...some, not all, tick bites precede rashes, and left untreated cause problems in multiple body systems...rashes, bladder infections, yeast infections, memory problems, etc...

Most doctors are ignorant in testing for and treating these symptoms...but if they are tick bites they need to be properly treated. The Lyme boards would have more info.
