RAPUNZEL from TANGLED appreciation thread.

UPDATE 2/13-10 new Rapunzel pics I found there today and a gig of Rapunzel kissing Flynn!

Hi
I wanted my first post here to be special and nothing could be more special than a tribute the the movie that renewed my faith in REALLY good animated Disney movies.

About once every decade one of the movie studios...usually DISNEY creates an outsanding, memorable and of course very lovely animated female character such as ARIEL...

Well for the 2000-2010 decade they sneaked it in at the second to last month when they released TANGLED in lake November. The main character Rapunzel is quite simply a dazzling creation and has a huge fan following from children to adults.

This is a pictorial site dedicated to her for any who find her simply adorable.

Oh yes, she's lovely and cool.

And so is the film. It's like the Renaissance never died; it simply stored itself in a cryogenic preservation chamber until CGI animation was sufficiently advanced to convey the pure wonder of this story.

I do agree. Rapunzel was a great leading character, and I was worried they'd make her a wannabe Princess Fiona type girl from the trailers, but I was gobsmacked at how totally different the portrayal was. Disney marketing sucks.

Also she's great artist, so kudos!

Yes. I sure did love Rapunzel for having a little flair to her and not be a helpless, delicate flower. :anime:

Plus I love her hair after it was cut... especially how it automatically became super stylish and cute! Was I the only one wondering how it looked soooo nice after it was cut? lol

The DVD is FINALLY out!

If somehow you did not see this movie RUN don't walk to get a hold of it.

Simply the best Disney movie in so many years with the most awesome heroinne ever-Rapunzel!

Yes! Not only did Tangled surprise me as being a truly beautiful fairytale, but Rapunzel surprised me as being just as strong as she is adorable. She must have some killer upper body strength to carry around all that hair and do the stunts she pulls. I also love how she and Flynn work as a team, no damsel in distresses or "I can do it all on my own" extremities. They are in my top 3 favorite Disney couples.
