Rape talk in health ?

so, in health we are discussing the topic of rape and how to prevent, who can be a victim and so on. However, our health teacher has said ( class of 16 yr old girls ) that its girls who are most likely to be raped, but men and boys are victims too. We were not considering rape in prisons , we were talking about rape in normal society. The class is debating this fact and i was wondering isnt it a little ridiculous to say girls are more likely to be raped, boys can be too. What makes a girl more vunrable to rape than a boy?
