I hate artists that say "I want to change my sound every album" because you know they A.) can't and B.) are just saying it to sound artistic and edgy. Its cliche and durab.

Most recently Howie Day (who's intolerable from the get go) said this and im thinking "I'd bet you can't play any other genre." In all honesty, he plays guitar and I think its hardest to play funk jazz or metal on guitar. I'd put down good money that says not only does he not listen to that, but that he can't play it anyway.

Similar to this is "were gunna take it to the next level on our next CD." Most banRAB that say something this vauge are making **** up hoping people will buy their albums. You don't have fore though, you write abstract songs about the same crap everyone else did. Next level for most acts that say that means more commercial. Instead of next level I wish they'd say next tax bracket.
 
I USED to be a 'metalhead' and I still listen to it and the odd band now are interesting enough from the plethora out there but a lot of them are narrow minded idiots. It is mainly teenagers though because liking the more extreme or obscure artists is a case of 'one upmanship'. As you mature you (90% of the time) diversify as I did. I think virtually all genre specific fans are as bad as each other and all I can say is more fool them. They are missing out on music that they could well like.
 
Really? That's funny because I hate egotistical elitists who refuse to accept any other musical tastes other than their own and automatically categorize any music they don't like as crap because they're too ignorant, immature, and narrowminded too accept the fact that music is a matter of personal taste. Quite a coincidence isn't it?
 
Oh yeah, no doubt there are open minded people and good on them. The one thing I absolutely detest in Music is close mindedness. By all means you don't have to be as eclectic as some of us but at least give ANY music a listen before you form an opinion. I don't think I could stay long on those forums and I like my Prog.
 
I mean when the cd box is one way, and the cd is the other so all the writing on the cd is upside down, or if there is a pattern that carries on across the cd artwork from the box that it gets disrupted.

Yes, it's geeky, but meh.
 
I love rap its what really got me into music but i hate some of the people i know that only listen to mainstream rap who dismiss all other types of music and spend all they're money on fake name branRAB and overpriced sneakers I mean seriously you work at burger king but you spent $150 on some fake bape shoes

On a side note, mixin, stop being a post whore. Yes swears are censored, but hopefully you're not actually retarded enough to need 3 posts to figure that out and you just decided to be an annoying post whore.
