Ranks of 68W in the army?

I was looking on one of the army websites and say a video for a 68W which is a combat medic. The girl in the video was only a Sergeant first class. I'm about to sign my papers for ROTC and when I graduate I'll be 2LT. A lot of people tell me that when your an officer you do a lot less physical training and more paper. I don't want to be stuck behind a desk pushing papers or teaching enlisted. What is the officer equivalent of a 68W? What are some other jobs that an Officer can hold? What are some in the medical field. I don't want to be stuck in a hospital, I want to be out in the field. Basically I want to have a MOS similar to an enlisted but a pay check of an officer.

68W isnt combat medic. its "health care specialist" or just "medic". you're not a combat medic until you've seen combat and earned your CMB.
anyway, 68W is enlisted only. sorry. if you dont want to do paperwork your whole career, then either become a pilot or become a provider (PA, MD, ETC). there is not officer equivilant of 68w. there are officers in the medical corps who arent MDs, etc but all they do is paperwork behind a desk. officers dont teach enlisted anything...its actually visa versa (unless that officer is a provider...providers teach their medics certain things). if you do go in as a provider, you'll work in a hospitol of some sort or an aid station. not field work, the field is the enlisted's territory.
