For a couple years i have been getting lightheaded basically every single time i get up. on average im lightheaded about 8 or more times a day. and occasionally i get very dizzy just standing. i get random headaches. my lightheaded spells have gotten much worse. i lose most of my vision and i start to get a needle prick like tingling in my arms and hands. i thought it was anemia for a while so i went in for blood work and figured out my iron levels are good. my blood pressure is slightly high, in the pre-hypertension stages. and my heart rate is almost always in the 100's. does anyone know what could be wrong? ive been asking around and ive talked to my doctor but i havent gotten any help. I have a healthy diet. im not dehydrated.

also i have very bad back pain, mostly on my spine. and i get this weird knot like thing in the right side of my back if i sit somewhere with no back support. when in school im constantly in pain from the constant sitting. when sitting for a while the one part my back feels all needle prickly and cold. and the throbbing pain is almost unbearable.

does anyone know someone/ or is someone with these symptoms? any ideas on what it could be? i have told my mom many times and she doesnt seem to care very much. she thinks nothing is wrong

It sounds like you need to see a neurologist. If you have the type of insurance where you have to get a referral from your primary doctor, go to a different one , for a second opinion. Then, if a specialist is needed, that doctor will refer you to the proper one.
Don't give up, hon! There's no reason you should be in pain. If necessary, have your mother go with you into the small room, so she can hear what the doctor says.
In the meantime, stand up slowly whenever you stand up. Something doesn't sound right, and I don't understand why your mom doesn't think it's anything.
You can have your mom read this if your want.
Bless you and good luck. :)

Oh boy, find a new doctor. He should have at least given you some possibilities to investigate by now if he's even a halfway decent doctor.

The first thing that comes to mind is that your other symptoms may be related to your back pain. Severe back problems aren't all that uncommon, and can lead to headaches, and even vision disturbances and tingling in the extremities in severe cases. However, I don't know if that would cause the lightheadedness or the rapid heart rate.

You really need to find a new doctor who will refer you to a chiropractor. The chiropractor would be able to screen you for back problems that could cause these symptoms. My guess is that you'll only be able to sort out a proper diagnosis if you treat the back problems so that you can distinguish what symptoms are or aren't being caused by those.

Good luck! This sounds like something that really needs urgent action ASAP. If your back is that messed up, it could be messed up for life it it's allowed to go for that long. And if it's not your back, you could have something really serious causing those symptoms.

The right side of the spine, has the many sections that are connected to the brain. If one of the sections on the spine is pinched, it could case pain, and dizzieness. I'd get a CT scan or some sort of inspection of your back.

Hope this helps!
