Random text messages

I've been wondering this for forever. Every so often, I'll randomly get this text message that says "OTA OK". It happens completely randomly and has gone on for a couple years. I'm on T-Mobile (obviously as I've posted in the T-Mo forum ).

Anyone know what this is?
 
OTA stands for "Over The Air" and OK means just that "OK".

You will get this message when ever you configure a new or different e-mail, browser, BB..etc setting that was done thru the BB network.

It is a confermation text msg that the change took place and all is "OK".
and yes it is free.
 
I figured it was something from T-Mo. But, I got these messages before I got a BB. I used to have a variety of Motorola phones. And I've never done anything to warrant a confirmation message. It just comes in at random.
