So my brother got this letter in the mail from Virginia about property taxes that he is being charged. While it is in the city we use to live in there, we did not own the property. We rented while we lived there and that was over almost 2 years ago. Why would we be charged property tax when we did not own the property nor have we lived there in over 2 years? We're going to call on monday because it seems fishy but looking for some insight before hand.
Oh and we only lived there for about 6 months...if that matters in any way.
