Hi, just bought a used Mazda 323F GSi (Similar to the Protege ??). It's a late 2002 model, 1.6L petrol engine. It's got a very intermittent misfire problem. It will drive fine for a week and then give 10 mins of trouble. It's only happened 3 or 4 times since I bought it, and seems to only happen when engine is up to normal operating temp.
Local garage found a P0300 error code in the log. Could it be a faulty coil pack or air flow meter? Engine doesn't have an EGR valve. Last serviced just 1000 miles ago. Thanks.
