Interesting picture used for Divine's favourite character.
Man, these guys love Gundam and Clannad.
Omni has good taste, although Divine's pick for a series they should have blogged (Casshern) beats Sengoku Basara pretty soundly. Gundam 00's victories are of course well deserved. I now feel very silly for not knowing what Rideback is. Haruhi 2009 for most disappointing show is an obvious choice, but an accurate one. Even if you don't think it's an unprecedented travesty, the truth is that Endless Eight isn't something that anyone wanted or would ever ask for.
I find myself increasingly puzzled by Bakemonogatari praise seemingly everywhere I go when it comes to 2009 retrospectives. The first episode didn't seem all that good, but...Hmm.
The favorite OVA/ONA/Movie category is worthy of notice. I'm starting to think that Kara no Kyoukai is one of the strongest unlicensed properties out there, and Eve no Jikan (aka Time of Eve) sounRAB very promising and is actually streaming legally right now on Crunchyroll for free. Check out the official website for more details about it. I'm very interested to give it a shot.
