Random Angry Rant: who's genius idea was it to build homes without light

fixtures in most rooms? my house only has lights in the bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, hallways and garage...the bedrooms, living room and family room don't have light fixtures, and it just seems REALLY stupid to me
 
I TOTALLY agree!

I've got a million plugs around the room - light switches that after 3 years, we don't know what they go to - and we have to but lights. It just makes so much more sense to have a center light in every dang room. The light is dispersed better.

I don't know who's idea it is, but I think they are missing a screw or two.
