negative. racist rand paul will never leave the spotlight. forever casting a terrible shadow on the gop

I support free speech. If someone wants to say "Fucking worthless [insert whatever race here]! I hate them!" then I support their right to say that. I don't agree with it, but I agree with their right to say it.

I suppose this makes me a racist, right?

You can say and do whatever you please as long as it doesn't infringe upon the rights of others. This is much different from Rand Paul's vision of america, which is one of blatant racism.

Bro wants "the option" of not serving black people. And then when asked to clarify he dodges the question, flip flops, and does everything in his power to redirect the conversation. Of course he's racist.

As far as Rachael Maddow is concerned, if she actually ran a private business, with her attitude she could not successfully run a neighborhood pizza parlor, even if she offered fellow travelers hair pie at $.50 a slice...

If Rand Paul said "Yes, businesses should not serve blacks." That would be racist. Saying a private business owner in their private business should have the right to refuse service based on whatever criteria they want is far from making him a racist. You're looking at it too narrowly. It's not about a "right to discriminate", it's about a right to sell your products or services based on whatever criteria you want, because they belong to you. Be it you don't like people who wear hats or you don't like whatever race.

No, it's pretty clear Rand Paul is racist.

RM: Do you think that a private business has the right to say "we do not serve black people"?

Rand Paul: Yeah.
