I thought the opposite. I thought GR would have said they have a star, they're on their way.. the other place neeRAB that help to step up and that's why they've won. That was how I thought he would play it.
 
I agree that he probably gave it to the boys because of their one Michelin star.

Despite the fact that their food was very criticised and he clearly had a problem with their mother lol.

I did find the boys' attitude a bit arrogant to, as if they were thinking "Hey Gordon, we have already been given one star without your guidance".

I'm surprised they actually took part in it.

How does it work? Are these restaurants nominated by the public?
 
So how is this place one of the two top of the British category? Interesting how these places seem to collapse once Ramsay arrives.
 
Actually, the best local restaurant thing was my favourite part of F-Word anyways.

And I visited last year's winner. It was marvellous. Best Indian food I have ever had in my life.
 
What I didn't enjoy about this programme was the Waitrose adverts with kiRAB sampling food and smacking their mouths and eating like pigs and talking with food in their traps. :mad:

Sorry, it's a pet hate.
