It opened earlier today in the U.S.. I wasn't going to see it but I was given a free ticket so I figured "what the heck". I wasn't expecting much but the movie turned out better than I thought it would be. It's extremely short though - about 80 minutes long.
And it's very, very violent. I'm honestly amazed that it only got an "R" rating. The violence is seriously vicious. Decapitations, chopped limbs, bullets & bombs that turn bodies into bloody pulps, etc. This isn't the Rambo I remember from the 1980s.
Sylvester Stallone looks older (well it's been 20 years!) and a little heavier. To be honest, I liked the way he looked in this film than in previous Rambo movies (which I'm not a fan of anyway).
