Rambo 4

This was on Dark Horizons website about Rambo 4 or its offical title of John Rambo:

"Lionsgate will release Sylvester Stallone's "John Rambo" on January 25th 2008.

Set in Thailand, the story follows a group of Christian aid workers who recruit John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) to guide them up the Salween River to deliver medical supplies to the Karen tribe of neighboring Burma (aka Myanmar).

When the missionaries fail to return, Rambo is persuaded to take a group of mercenaries back into the war-torn border region to find them. What follows is a descent into hell on earth.

Julie Benz, Matthew Marsden, Graham McTavish, Rey Gallegos, Jake La Botz, Tim Kang and Paul Schulze also star."

Yeah I've seen it, it looks even better than the other ones but I suppose you can't beat the original. I hope it lives up to my expectations.

Looks very good and Sly like with Rocky Balboa knows how to make this work.
Will be much more realistic and miles away from the type of dumb (but very good) action movies the 2 sequels were which should be left firmly in the past.
Also good that they're not going the cheap.gimmicky and offensive way by using a war on terror plot and setting in Iraq,Afhgan or Iran.

This looks brilliant, seen the trailer.

Have a bad feeling about it though. If it isn't an 18 cert, then how the hell will be as good as the previous 3?

Well I guess I'll have to wait and see.

Looks very good and am looking forward to seeing it.
How many of those and other gory scenes will actually end up in our release of the film?
I bet the BBFC will want alot cut out before we get to see it in our cinemas.

I doubt it, the bbfc are mainly fine about gore now- they let deathproof in okay, and it's got one of the most brutal gore scenes I can remember for ages in it.

Anyway I wonder if this rambo will be "dedicated to the gallant people of Afghanistan" like III. Ha ha ha.
