Assalaamu Aleikum,
So im getting married soon and i don't want a wedding, bid dress, gold or anything like that...
My immediate family are fien with that (mum made a few adjustments lol, but im fine with that) BUT my extended family, like my uncles and aunts are freaking out!! They're gonna go crazy cause i dont wnat all that.
Its causing conflict within th family and its making me depressed
They dont understanddddddddd taht i do NOT care about all that ={
Anyway...
How do i deal with this? Is there some sort of Islamic approach? I want to have a marriage acording to the Sunnah, so i dont want to compromise with them. They're making as if its THEIR marriage >.<
