SCIENTIFICALLY, WHAT IS ONENESS (SINGLENESS, UNITY)?
Scientifically, oneness or unity (quantity) is a state in which an entity is physically at one point ONLY at a time.
It follows that scientifically, oneness or singleness of an entity is in relation to time and space (and, consequently gravity).
Singleness (oneness) as a Weakness:
Being unavoidable in one place only at a time is a weakness since it is not by choice but a condition imposed by time, space and gravity.
SINGLENESS (UNITY OR ONENESS) OF GOD
As we have seen, scientifically, ONENESS is defined by time, space and gravity all of which are parameters of the principles of physics.
Before the Universe was created there was no time, no space and no gravity. So by then there was no principle of physics because time, space and gravity are parameters of principles of physics. But God was already in (unit) existence. It follows that the unity (or oneness or singleness) of God is not dictated by time, space and gravity. So, the unity (or oneness) of God is not such a weakness that is dictated by external forces such as time, space and gravity with no consent of the entity. It follows that the unity of God is different from ordinary unity of matters. But at this point we don’t know the nature of the unity of God.
Singleness of God and the Principle of Physics.
Indeed every organic and non organic matter is physically defined by the Principles of Physics because all the people, animals, plants and mineral matters came from within the universe, which is physically regulated by the principles of physics with time, space and gravity as parameters. But as we have seen earlier, God is not a derivative of the universe and as such his unity is NOT a function of external parameters, which came into existence after God had already been in existence anyway.
Oneness of the Almighty: At this point we still don’t know the nature of the oneness of God since it scientifically differs from our kind of oneness (or singleness). But what is obvious is that if God is really ALLMIGHTY; no principle can confine him to any state or point only at a time. Since being at one place only at a time is a weakness (or limitation) imposed by time, space and gravity; God, whose unity is not dictated by these parameters, should be able to be at more than one place at a time. He should be every where at the same time and go to where he is already there and come from where he is already there-- a condition which is in defiance of the ordinary Principle of Physics. I am not sure that even quantum mathematics (mechanics) can perfectly relate these.
Conclusion
In conclusion, we have seen that the oneness of God, who is a spiritual entity, is different from the oneness of man, who is a physical entity. And the oneness of God does not limit him to one place only at a time etc. In other words, God is ONE but he is NOT quantifiable or finite in the ordinary sense because he is not subject to time and space.
Singleness (Oneness) of God: A Hint From Izra’il (The Angel of Death) Example
I think the best approach in introducing a Muslim to the uniqueness of the oneness (or unity) of God is to first of all introduce him to the nature of Izra’il. Even though he is a single entity, Izra’il is even right now in thousands of places in the World taking lives at the same time. At the time that Izra’il takes a life in an Iranian family, he is equally at many other families in Iran and all the countries in the World taking away lives in thousands of families. And at the same time he is on his way to take lives and back from taking other lives---all at the same time. This is because spirit beings are not regulated by the principles of physics because they are not derivatives of the universe like we people.
TRINITY
Now we have established that oneness of God does NOT limit his entity. In fact, the example of Izra’il has shown that even the spirit beings that were created by God are not quantitatively limited by time and space. Trinity is just about the three ways in which God manifested himself to us out of the limitless other ways he can.
So, it appears to me that scientifically, Quantitatively Finite Tauheed is an anachronistic error, but on the other hand, the Christian concept of Tauheed (oneness of God) that accommodates Trinity is scientifically a possibility. So, what are your educative views pls?
