Rally Mirror Chrome Front Touring Fender?

Just wait everyone, just wait. Someone will put one on with the right mix of parts, wheels, color, etc. and everyone's jaw's will drop.... dont be surprised. I actually think it looks pretty bitchin'. That's just me though.
 
One of the worst looking bikes I ever saw was a completely chromed Softail. The seat and tires were the only things that had not been chromed. Probably sounded like a good idea to someone but the end result was bad.
 
My father in-law has a chrome road king classic. It has the leather bags and tour pack, leather seat, and rubber tires. Everything else is chrome. It takes him forever to polish it all, but every time he pulls in somewhere, or stops for gas, people come over to view it. They usually take a picture while they're there, although the usually get a picture mostly of their own reflection. He didn't chrome it, my bro-in law bought it that way a couple of years ago, and he got it from him.

I don't have any pics, but he's over at my house quite a bit, so next time he's here, I'll try to take a pic and post it.
 
I'll take the front fender only, and ONLY, if they can sell me the tank, fairing(inner and outer) windshield, bars, side covers, bags, rear fender, filler panels, head and taillights, and tires to match!!! OMFG that's quite possibly the most asinine abomination ever to come from HD. That will definitely be the fastest disappearance of a part we hve ever seen. Or least we can only hope so.
 
Back in the day ....... many motorcycles came stock with chrome front fenders.
Even some dirt bikes had chrome fenders.
I used to flat track a BSA 441 Victor, that had both front 'and' rear chrome fenders.

So I guess it just a continuing cycle of cycles ...........

I've got my kid's motorcycle out in the garage while he's deployed in the Army. It's a 1974 Honda 750 that he built into a cafe racer. It has chrome fenders on it - this model all came that way in the 1970s.

Actually I agree with speadfreak1 - with the right build, the right paint, the right mix of chrome, wheels, and other parts, I think something like that would really stand out nicely. I could see it working on the right bike.
