rainbow six vegas ending.

yeah the ending was pretty weak imo.

*spoiler alert*
it was so abrupt, it was like they ended it 80% through a mission or something. maybe i was expecting a boss battle or something (which i understand goes somewhat against the grain of the game), but it was like you kill a bunch of guys, re-program the missile real quick, kill 4 or 5 more guys, and then it just ended out of nowhere. it would have been cool to battle that chopper at the end or something, but then i guess that's been done to death in other games.
 
i don't remember total play time through the missions, but it's prob around 12-15 hours depending on how good you are. you can do 4 player co-op on xbox live doing the missions too, which gives it good replay value.
and the online multiplayer is >>>>> GOW

it's a must-have in my book
 
Ending blows dick. I seriously thought it was the beginning of a new mission. That's how it feels...not an ending at all, then the "to be continued"...I was like wtf. Its an awesome game, but the ending of the single player mode...its like they ended it in the middle cuz happy hour was in 30mins...
 
i enjoyed the hell outta it. and yes, the multiplayer is by far > gow. ending didnt really bother me cause it just reassured me that theres a sequel coming.
 
oh yeah, dont get me wrong, at first im like, WHAT?!? but then it didnt bother me as much cause it left more of a story which is something you dont see much of in a rainbow 6 game. i woulda loved to have picked up a rocket or something at the end and nailed his ass in the chopper. or gotten sniper rifle and shot the pilot and watched them crash into damn thus killing me in the process....
 
yeah it coulda still been "to be continued" if you shoot the chopper down and they just can't find the guy's body. would have been much more satisfying.

oh, and am i the only one that stood too close to the rocket when it took off and died in the flames?
 
Ok maybe someone can help me here.

I stopped playing this game since over a month ago, because I can't get past this one part.

Where that mexican chick bad guy is on the top of the room. You have to send a guy to the computer, and alot of bad guys rush you.

But when I go up the stairs, it says she has escaped. It always does this. I don't know how else to kill her?
 
you have to stay downstairs and keep killing guys/protecting the computer until it tells you to move on (your guys will start heading up the stairs, i think). what you're doing at the computer is trying to lock the chick in the room, and if you run up there before she's locked in (like i'm guessing you have been doing) then she can escape
 
I dont know if this was said or not but what ending did you guys get? There were 2. I got the 2nd one just because if you shoot at the helicopter you see it go down and during the credits you hear the news report about the pilots body being missing but your teammates body being found at the crashsite. So its better than the 1st where you dont see/hear anything.

I just shot at it because I was pissed
