radiofrequency! Anyone had this done on their back?

I am having a procedure done the 16th of this month called "radiofrequency". Has anyone on this site had this done? If so what was your outcome and how long did it last? I am scared, as I think it invoves putting needles into your spine. Any input appreciated. boomer
 
Hi! I have had this done several times, and it has helped control my pain! For me it lasts about 8 months, but some people can get up to a year relief. The procedure lasts about 45 minutes, and I always ask for sedation. They need you to be awake to let them know you feel something, when they test each level before burning. It is definitely worth it for me, since I could not sit for long at all without the RFA. I wish you luck! Take care, Kera4
