Thanks. However I have 8830.
In Radio Lab tool, I only see GSM & the 8830 IMEI, PIN & BSN.
1. What abt CDMA info? It is not diaplyed?
2. Even after refreshing NW in GSM, I am not seeing my GSM NW. Device is in GSM mode. Nor I am able to read data from device in GSM mode as it gives error message log - No NW found. Pl advice
3. Pl share a Reference manual for RadioLab tool so I can experiment with diff parameters.
4. If GSM NW is not showing, Can I still change IMEI & PIN?

Hi, I installed MFI Loader and give me the error:

Cannot create CFP instance. Please ensure the BBCFPCOM driver is registered.

Can you help me.

i had this error the one day. you need to change the rim virtual usb port to com 3 and 4. to do this right click on my computer and go to properties. then select hardware and go to device manager. From there go to the port. under there you will see to virtual usb ports. double click on them and then click the port tab and change it to com 3 and 4 and then it should work.
 
Did you write/change the BSN also or you only changed IMEI/PIN? Did your device connect to RIM NOC and get EDGE? can you use BES? Thanks for your reply.

I managed to unlock my Rogers 8100 Pearl using a pre-compiled version of MFI. But even it gives me error "Cannot locate MFI file on local drive... ABORT". I never get to see a "1" on my screen and I guess that's why I can't write new IMEI with Radio Lab Tool. Someone mentioned they had to reset there 8100 to factory before it would work for them. Any ideas on being able to put my fone into field test using MFI so I can write IMEI?? I can read current IMEI and it does connect, just doesn't write IMEI, BSN, PIN etc...
