Radar Detector Mount Location

I searched the forum and didn't really find a thread that answered this question. Those of you with Electra Glides that use radar detectors, where have you have you had best success mounting your detectors? Any pics would be greatly appreciated.

I don't have the setup now buy when I had my Ultra Classic, I used a Solo Escort cordless radar detector. The unit came with 3 small suction cups for the windshield. I never trusted it on the windshield of my Ultra so I drill 3 small holes in the windshield to fasten the bracket permanently and still could remove the detector itself. I still have the Escort but don't mount it on my RKC but very likely will again if I get another UC.

Tech mount offers some nice little platforms you can mount off a handle bar or mirror stem hole.
