I was wondering if the R18 certificate is ever used for anything other than porn.

What films have been given an R18 certificate which are not porn movies and why did they only get an R18 certification?

The BBFC website says that R18 movies cannot be supplied by mail order. But there are plenty of places on the internet where you can order these films. How does that work?

Films which claim not to be primarily designed to arouse the audience may avoid an R18 classification, even if they feature explicit sex. 'Educational' purposes are often the fig leaf many of them hide behind to escape the R18 tag.

If you're wondering what cert Nine Songs will get, it's likely to receive an 18 cert as it is not intended as w*nk fodder.
