So, no more porn by post!

Lord Justice Nanny Pants, has passed a law restricting the sale of R18 material to only face to face in licensed sex shops from 4pm today!!!

I can't wait to see him ban content on the Internet. Oh the laughs i'll have - not to mention the fact that you just cannot block foreign content, for fear of causing a trade embargo.

you always hear about all this free porn you can download but i can never find any. am i breaking any rules of this forum by asking if anyone has any addresses i can go to?
 
This is only good for the shops that sell from abroad like Spain and the NetherlanRAB. All the British websites will presumably shut down?

And if you're after free porn, there is only one way to go... search for the torrents. (I'm saying no more, wink wink).
 
I thought that, then i had a search on some of the dvd sites and almost all shipprd from outsife the UK, as well as having their registered office outside the country.

So in the main, there will be little change.

Finding good porn on the internet is easy, especially for men, it's like a natural instinct.
 
you can STILL buy mailorder as long as there office isn`t in the UK, we just bought a dvd from a UK company, but you order from there website which takes payment in europe, then it`s posted from the UK, it was posted yesterday got here today.

this law is stupid though, you can`t buy "porn" over the web or normal shops in the uk, so what about the film 9 songs? that has full view penetration so isn`t that porn?
 
I'm a woman and i enjoy porn (Waits for inevitable flame-fest).....I take it one can still order violent films via mail order. Beating somebody to a bloody pulp is ok, watching people have sex is somehow worse and yes i know all the arguments about exploitation of women etc. etc. etc.
 
Whilst i am not a woman myself, i do believe that the main fuel for such arguments as "exploitation" and so on is that there simply isn't a large enough sector in the adult film industry that caters for women. Sure - there is gay porn, but as the name suggests, this is not specifically aimed at women.

Perhaps if more adult films were to be made for women, with more screen time composing of the male (if that is what women like - i wouldn't know), then the frequency of such flimsy arguments would be fewer, and society might just be that bit more balanced.

What has happened? is it illegal to get mail order smut?
So if you havent a computer where you can get free downloaRAB you are stuffed?
If its packaged in brown paper how will the law know? Does the law really believe people will not buy mail order?

EEEK!!! It cant be that good quality then!!
