The funniest part about this all is the people who complain or ask these loaded questions are most of the time not even members of the sites they attack/question. Or they have been banned or disabled or whatever and look for revenge, so they get other individuals all riled up and sit back and laugh at the drama that was created....

Obviously, you have no idea how much work goes into a site- yet alone, a well respected and thriving one.

$2000-$3000 may seem like a lot of money to you, but most of us wouldn't "scheme" for 4 years to get that much.

What should people do when they dont get answers even after asking over and over again?

I don't know if what was reported by FTN staff was the actual case or not, but honestly I am not going to lose any sleep over it either....

That is your stance and opinion but there are people who would like to know what really is going on.Especially people who have contributed to the community.

I hope it won't close, mostly because it's one of the last long standing references in bt.
Besides, it would be a bitch because then we would have here all the "FTN refugees" thread here, saying they were elite and should be invited to other elite trackers. That kinda makes me puke.
If Brandon closes the tracker, then the IRC will be just like as it happened with sct, everyone trading. And then, only then, he will see the amount of scum which joined his tracker.

About paypal, there must be a safer solution, just like someone pointed out.

Just hoping they pull this one through, it would be absolutely shitty to see such a site go down due to technicalities.

Update: April 30 19:57:19 - You guys are amazing. Seriously, the fact that you love this place enough to get our funding up in little over a day is absolutely beyond flattering and truly makes me proud that FTN means that much to you. You guys pulled through on your end and myself and the staff are truly grateful for your generosity. As you may already have guessed, the site will go on, thanks to you. I always said we had the best members, and you guys have proved that.

On a side note, I took down the donations page temporarily since we went over our 100% goal. From now on, I'll be taking the link down once we reach our goal to ensure we don't go over and raise any more flags with paypal. I also plan on changing the way we do things a bit, and paying our bill a month in advance to ensure we always have a month to fall back on, and to keep as few currency in our paypal at any point in time as possible.

Thank you SO much, and I promise we'll put twice as much effort into this place now that we all realize both how much it means to us, and how much it means to you.
